True, if his mother were half Ethipian/black, Lincold would have been only 1/4 black, but still, there is nothing about his face or stature that says Ethiopian. If he were, indeed, that would be fascinating, but I bet you any Kenyan reading your piece would be thinking: "Here they go again, trying to claim to be the first at everything!" LOL. Also, curious - why the over-use of Habesha to refer to Ethiopians. What is wrong with "Ethiopians?" And, by the way, it is offensive to African-Americans to be referred to as "negroes." @Zatu...I don't think that was my intention. I just think it is intriguing to know that Abraham Lincoln could have been Habesha because he was the 16th American president, which would have made him the 1st black president, in that case...and especially because it would make him the 1st and only president to have lineage directly associated with our country.
